Ginger Water

Ingredients:

  • 1 to 2 inches of fresh ginger root
  • 2 to 3 cups of water
  • ½ lemon
  • Raw honey


Directions:

  1. Take the 1 to 2 inch piece of fresh ginger root and grate into a bowl.
  2. Add the 2 to 3 cups of water and the juice of ½ a lemon.
  3. Sweeten the mixture with raw honey.
  4. Let sit for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Strain the mixture into a glass. This drink can be consumed warm or chilled.
  6. Sip ginger water throughout the day to help prevent illness or to help you feel better when you’re sick.
